INTERSECT is a power DAX function that allows you to find the overlap between two temp tables. This is both easier than it sounds and perfect for calculating the ever popular Returning Customers measure. In this video Brian Grant will sketch out for you how this measure works, and walk you through how you want to think about solving a measure like this before writing a single line of code. A must for anyone trying to get started with DAX.
