VLOOKUP has been the most versatile function in Excel from day 1. A legend in its own right! However, its not without its limitations. VLOOKUP can only look for values in the columns to the right of lookup column.
In this Excel video tutorial, we are learning a work around that involves using a second Excel function named CHOOSE() to lookup to the left in Excel. In other words left lookup is not possible with VLOOKUP alone. But with CHOOSE function we can perform left lookup in Excel with VLOOKUP function.
