Abstract:
Interactive Buttons and Bookmarks are two of the best ways to add web-like user experiences to Power BI reports. Bookmarks help create a more seamless filter and navigation experience. Buttons can be used with bookmarks, but can also be leveraged for a lot of other report functionality and navigation.
Profile:
James is primarily driven by the desire to achieve maximum efficiency in everything he does—from his work as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Des Moines University (Iowa, USA) to his open-source software projects, volunteer work, and hobbies. James is a lifelong student and an autodidact, constantly looking for new things to teach himself, and opportunities to teach others. He particularly enjoys mentoring new employees at work and teaching disadvantaged school children how to code on the weekends.
And when he’s not working, coding, volunteering, or sleeping, James can usually be found hanging out with his wife, dog, and two cats, or working on his hobbies, which include electronic music production, audio engineering, and home automation.
