If you need to copy a range of cells from one location to another in Microsoft Excel and there are some blank or empty cells in the range, then the data where you are pasting will get overwritten with blank cells when you paste in your group of cells. If you do not want the empty cells to paste over any data, then you can do a paste special and skip any blank cells to avoid this.
